Ultrasonic Level Switch

Ultrasonic Level Switch

Ultrasonic Level Switch – Description

An Ultrasonic Level Switch is a non-contact level detection device used to monitor and control the level of liquids, slurries, and bulk solids in tanks, vessels, and silos. It operates by transmitting high-frequency ultrasonic sound waves toward the material surface and detecting the reflected echo. When the level reaches a preset switching point, the device activates an output relay for alarms, pumps, or process control.

Since there are no moving parts and no direct contact with the process medium, ultrasonic level switches provide reliable operation with minimal maintenance and are suitable for corrosive, hazardous, or contaminated applications.
